Voting Scorecard

The 2011 NC General Assembly session was characterized by several high profile attacks on reproductive health and rights. Two anti-choice bills– HB854 and HB289–became law; in addition, three anti-choice provisions were included in the state budget. Our 2011 Scorecard is designed to inform North Carolinians about how state legislators voted on these important issues.

Endorsements
In 2002, the Planned Parenthood Action Fund of Central North Carolina began endorsing candidates for the NC General Assembly. Since then we have endorsed and worked to elect more than 25% of the sitting members.  Pro-choice voters trust the Planned Parenthood Action Fund to let them know which candidates will stand up for Choice!
